Welcome to Matador

Due to many advantages Salt bath is found to be the most effective and economical Heat Treatment Process. Uniform heating, less distortion accurate temperature control and uniform results can be achieved by salt bath process.

Scaling, Oxidation and Decarburising are eliminated. 'MATADOR' Heat Treatment Salts have been developed after a coniderable practical experience in the Heat Treatment Field and all metallurgical factors are consider while developing the salts.

MNC 661 - Working Range 650 to 950 -

Neutral Salt for hardening tools steels and selectively carburised steels. Also used for preheating hot die steel and High Speed steel prior to hardening from MHS 971. Salt.

Sparingly soluble in cold water and excellent fluidity even at the lower working temperature.

Can be used for preparing liquid carburising salt bath. DENSITY : at 800 c - 60Kgs./cu .ft. approx.

MWS 721 - Working Range 700 c to 950 c -

Sparingly water soluble neutral hardening salt for hardening of tool steels and selectively carburised steels.

Can be used without 'Regenerator" but with 5 to 7% sodium cyanide as a scale free heating medium.

DENSITY : at 825 C - 45kgs/ cu. ft. approx.

MAS 651 - Working Range 650 c to 950 c -

Most suitable salt developed for anealing plain carbon steel wire at temparature below 720 c.

MHT 831 - Working Range 831 - 1100 c.

This bath is suitable for hardening high carbon high chromium die steel with chromium contents between 11 - 14% & chromium hot die steel
